Before you plan: travel times
- Bangkok → Phuket: a domestic flight of about 1h20.
- Phuket → Krabi: about 3 hours by road.
- Krabi → Bangkok: a domestic flight of about 1h20.
- Bangkok → Pattaya: about 2 hours by road.
Each move takes about half a day including getting to the hotel, so don't squeeze in too many places on a short trip.
One week (7 days)
- For the sea and rest: 6 nights in Phuket with two island trips, such as Phi Phi and James Bond Island.
- No domestic flight: 3 nights in Bangkok, then 3 nights in Pattaya.
- City and sea: 2 nights in Bangkok, then 4 nights in Phuket.
10 days
- The most balanced option: 3 nights in Bangkok for sights and shopping, then 6 nights in Phuket for the sea and islands.
- For nature lovers: 6 nights in Phuket, then 3 nights in Krabi, with no big cities.

Two weeks (14 days)
This is Thailand in full, without rushing. Our travellers' favourite plan is 13 nights:
- 8 nights in Phuket: beach time, two or three island trips and slow days.
- 2 nights in Krabi: Railay beach and the four islands.
- 3 nights in Bangkok: the Grand Palace, Wat Arun, a floating market and a full shopping day.
With children who love water parks, you can swap Bangkok for 2 nights in Bangkok and 2 in Pattaya.
Tips for your plan
- Start with the city and end by the sea, so the trip finishes with calm days instead of crowds.
- Leave one free day at each stop, especially with children.
- In the rainy season, keep your island-trip days flexible.
Every plan can change: we adjust nights, hotels and cities to your budget and who's travelling, and all transport between cities is included in the package.
