Two countries, one obsession with getting the details right.

How this started

Thai Journey started in 2020, not as a business plan but as a habit that got out of hand. Someone in our circle in Umm al-Fahm had spent enough time in Thailand to actually know it — not resort-brochure knowledge, but which songthaew driver to trust, which family-run guesthouse in Krabi beats the four-star hotel next to it, and which "must-see" temples are worth skipping on a first trip. Friends started asking for the same three-page itinerary. Then friends of friends. By the time we admitted it was a real business, we already had a small team on the ground in Phuket handling logistics that no amount of Googling from Israel could replace.

That's still the split today: our Israel HQ handles planning, pricing, and the conversation with you from first email to final itinerary. Our Phuket-based team handles what actually makes a trip work once you land — vetting hotels in person, keeping relationships with drivers and guides, and being awake in the right timezone when something needs fixing at 11pm local time.

We're now doing the same thing for Europe: building relationships with the people and places we'd actually send our own families to, one route at a time, rather than listing every country on a map and hoping for the best.

How we work

• Thailand ground team (Phuket) — local logistics, hotel and guide vetting, and real-time support while you're travelling in the region.
• Europe desk (new) — currently expanding, starting with our most-requested routes in Greece, Italy, and Switzerland.
