Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before booking a trip with us.

1. Who we are

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Thai Journey website and your booking of any travel package, itinerary, or service through Thai Journey Travel Co. ("Thai Journey," "we," "us"), headquartered in Umm al-Fahm, Israel, with an operating team based in Phuket, Thailand.

2. What we do

Thai Journey designs and arranges custom travel itineraries. In doing so, we act as an intermediary between you and third-party suppliers — including hotels, guides, transport providers, and local operators. We select these suppliers carefully, but the services they provide are ultimately governed by their own terms and conditions, which may apply alongside ours.

3. Booking process

A booking is confirmed once you've approved a written itinerary and quote from us and we've received the required payment. Until then, any itinerary we send you is a proposal, not a confirmed reservation, and availability and pricing may change.

4. Pricing and payment

All prices are quoted in Israeli New Shekels (₪) unless stated otherwise. At present, payments are collected in person or by bank transfer through our Israel office; online payment will be added as an option in the future.

5. Changes and cancellations

If you need to change or cancel a confirmed booking, contact us as early as possible. Cancellation fees may apply depending on how close to departure you cancel, reflecting both our own planning costs and the cancellation terms imposed by our third-party suppliers — we'll confirm the specific terms for your booking at the time you book.

We reserve the right to change or cancel any part of an itinerary before departure due to circumstances outside our control (see Section 6), in which case we will offer a comparable alternative or a refund for the affected portion.

6. Force majeure

We are not liable for delays, changes, or cancellations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, extreme weather, political instability, strikes, pandemics, or government travel restrictions. Where possible, we will help you rebook or seek a refund from the relevant supplier, but we cannot guarantee the outcome of supplier-side policies.

7. Your responsibilities

  • You are responsible for ensuring you hold a valid passport, any required visas, and any health documentation needed for your destination.
  • We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance covering cancellation, medical emergencies, and lost baggage for every trip booked with us.
  • You are responsible for arriving at meeting points, transport, and activities on time as specified in your itinerary.

8. Liability

Thai Journey acts as an intermediary in arranging third-party travel services. Except where required by applicable law, we are not liable for the acts, omissions, injury, loss, or damage caused by independent third-party suppliers, including hotels, airlines, guides, and transport operators.

9. Intellectual property

All content on this website — including text, itineraries, photography, and design — is owned by or licensed to Thai Journey and may not be copied or reused without our written permission.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and any dispute arising from them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Israel.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your booking will apply to that booking.
